Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades to items can be an excellent way to boost the value of your weapon and armor. However upgrading your magic and standard equipment isn't worth the investment since uncommon or exclusive equipment will quickly outclass it.
An item can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade will add points to the item's level gauge.
Glyphs

The Glyphs panel allows you to examine these variations and add them into your document.
Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine how the glyphs are placed when layouts for text are designed. You can obtain Growthstones from a variety of NPCs in major cities, or from the player auction house. You can also get them as rewards from the Ancient Arena season. These items can be used to improve skills that are passive, and also to upgrade weapons and armor.
Once you have enough Growthstones you can visit any Equipment Enchanting NPC and raise the upgrade level of your gear. Growthstones are required for a variety of weapons, armor and accessories. These NPCs also sell Active Skill Growth Books, Passive Skill Growth Books, and the Precious Skill Growth Book Omnipotence to upgrade your weapon.
You can upgrade your skills and equipment at these NPCs however, you'll need to spend a lot on the process. Each upgrade level will cost a certain amount of Valorstones and crests, with weapons usually costing the most. Additionally, you'll have to complete certain quests to obtain the required items. For instance, if you would like to improve your armor, you will need one of the three Power Dices dropped by monsters 21 and over in addition to some Erons and Minerals.
Recycled Items
Recycled products are created from materials that were previously wasted. These materials could be recycled plastics, paper, aluminum cans, glass bottles and even electronics. Upgrades are only available to items with blue or higher rarity, including those dropped from end-chests in Factions and Nightfall campaigns. Upgrade components can't be used to create new items.
A suffix is an extra word or group of characters that imparts meaning to a word. For example, -tion in create or phoria in the sense of feeling. Suffixes can also change the part-of-speech of words. For example the suffix -er in English, and German's suffix -ismus. They can even rewrite a word. For example the word defenseless changes to unprotected.
There are many kinds of suffixes, ranging from verbs and nouns, to adjectives and adverbs. Adding suffixes to words can change their meaning or pronunciation, and some have specific rules that apply. Suffixes can be used to alter the grammatical structure of words, for example, adding -ness to make the word an adjective, or -ic to make the possessive noun.
In addition to being used to add an additional meaning to a word, suffixes can be also used in the names of people and places. A man who is single could have the surname "Paulauskaite" and a woman married would have "Paulauskiene".
The most commonly used suffixes indicate status. These include -ion and -ist. They can also be used as a way to define a person's personality characteristics like -iveness and -phoria.
Item affixes are utilized to enhance weapons and armor with additional parameters that provide bonuses. These are often a combination of one or more prefixes or suffixes. For example, -Fiery increases atk power by introducing fire elemental damage. Item affixes are available for most items of level 80, with the exception of crafted ascended armor and crafted trinkets.
